Notable among the undergraduate degree programs is Texas’ only B.S. degree in Biotechnology. 89% of the enrollment is from Texas; 8% is from other states and 3% are international students. Located in Canyon, Texas near the famous Palo Duro Canyon and at the center of one of the nation’s major crop and livestock regions, WTAMU offers a “living laboratory” experience for those interested seeking an education in Agriculture; Life, Earth and Environmental Sciences or Physical Sciences and Engineering.
