Summary:
The role of the Web experience Product Manager of our IT Business Partnership and Experience (ITBPE) team is to enable a patient centric, outside-in approach to Seagen’s long-term digital strategy. This role will collaborate with cross functional partners from Commercial, Medical Affairs, Corporate Communication as well as Seagen global teams, to improve our overall constituent digital experience.
The Web Product Manager will plan and drive the delivery of industry-best self-service Web experience capabilities to support website delivery, quality analytics, as well as security and privacy compliance needs – all using a patient centric approach.
The Web experience Product Manager will work closely with external as well as internal stakeholders to support our mission and deliver patient value through digital capabilities. They will collaborate with engineering and cross-functional leadership teams to build, manage, and implement web capabilities to enable a personalized web experience across the Seagen Digital ecosystem.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholder leadership and team members to define the vision and strategy for the Web experience team and develop a product roadmap focused on digital capabilities.
- Provide capabilities for self-servicing Web experience delivery while engaging with multiple brand agencies and SaaS delivery partners.
- Review and maintain the product roadmap with key stakeholders.
- Determine product priorities, including new features and defect fixes.
- Lead the delivery of new web product features including creation of release documentation, workshops, and providing operational support during launches.
- Translate epics into stories to enable web development teams to understand scope; understand technical implications of features and how to break down into user stories.
- Outline clear acceptance criteria, to clearly communicate the definition of ready/done.
- Manage agile sprint ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Act as the evangelist and coach across the organization for Web experience adoption and continuous improvement.
- Provide thought leadership and enable enterprise-wide adoption of our Web experience platform within US as well as Global cross-functional teams.
- Promote an innovation culture across the Web experience team; bring curiosity about industry trends and best practices and encourage others to do so as well.
- Orchestrate collaboration across the team and with other product owners by removing roadblocks and fostering communication.
- Advocate and evangelize agile, lean, and continuous delivery best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working successfully with cross-functional teams to deliver web solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to build a web delivery product backlog and engage with partner agencies for successful delivery.
- Strong facilitation, prioritization, and influencing skills.
- Exposure to web delivery solutioning aspects of privacy, analytics and campaigns.
- Strong communication skills, listening and sharing information; orchestrating collaboration by removing roadblocks and fostering communication.
- Experience in (two of) campaign management, Web experience, content management, managing SaaS solutions.
- Experience prioritizing competing demands and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict with stakeholders.
- Ability to see and clearly communicate the big picture of the Seagen Web ecosystem to stakeholder teams to highlight cross-functional inter-dependencies and impact.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view.
- Openness to contradictory opinions and flexibility in your thinking.
- A willingness to jump into projects and complex environments to make sense of ambiguous details in multiple domains.
- In-depth knowledge & extensive experience working with Scrum and agile methodologies; hands-on experience in using Azure DevOps or Jira to plan and execute sprints.
- Hands-on experience with cloud Web experience (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) technology and services
Understanding or exposure to automated testing.
- Understanding and experience with web global privacy policies and compliance (e.g., GDPR) is a plus.
- Able to able to learn and adopt newer approaches as the business environment shifts or as the technology landscape evolves.
- Must be well versed in versioning strategies.
Education:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Information Systems.
