Summary
This Full Time Position assists the Shipping and Receiving Lead in the daily shipping and receiving operations & support services for all departments. Working hours have some flexibility but core hours are 8 AM to 5 PM weekdays.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Major duties include receiving supplies and equipment. Shipping materials, equipment, and products. Transferring materials between departments
- Processing Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, World Courier, USPS, and other courier deliveries and shipping
- Shipping & receiving temperature sensitive, biological, & hazardous materials
- Maintain accurate data entry of packing slips and chemical inventory records
- Maintain central office, lab and Vivarium supply stockrooms
- Daily mail sorting and delivery
- Relief of reception daily
- Receive hazardous materials using a chemical inventory system
- Receive cGMP material in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulations
- Order and procure office supplies and equipment using Oracle software
Expected Qualifications:
- Requires high school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Software and Oracle ERP software
- Must be a self-starter and work independently
- Must be organized and data-entry accuracy required
- Must be able to successfully complete bio-hazardous materials, hazardous materials transportation, chemical safety, and blood born pathogen training (provided)
- Scope of work may involve standing for long periods of time, and in certain circumstances walking on foot across a broad campus setting
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver’s License and proof of Insurance required to drive company fleet vehicles
Preferred Qualifications:
- List the years of experience as well as the type of experience preferred but not required to do this job
- List the education and certifications preferred
- Familiar with general warehouse and loading dock equipment like Carts, Pallet jack, dock lift, mover dolly, hand truck, etc.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. or greater
